Entoure launches its new charitable cause
Entoure has extended its area of focus to a panel of beneficiaries that support the emotional healing of kids and families doing it tough. To date, over 374 riders have supported our events and raised a staggering $920,000 for kids charities.
Whilst our focus has been all about critically injured kids, our extended focus is by no means moving away from supporting them; it is simply supporting them, and now others, in a different way.
We believe the emotions of a child suffering from a serious illness, disability or disadvantage needs love and support. Whilst the doctors take care of their medical condition, there are some fantastic charitable organisations established to support them on an emotional level; and this is the area we are now looking to support.
The Humour Foundation is just one organisation supporting kids in difficult circumstances on an emotional level. In short, the Humour Foundation have over 55 clown doctors working within hospitals right across Australia. The Clown Doctors are professional comedians paid and trained to bring joy and laughter to kids at a time when they need it most. The Clown Doctors work in ICU, Emergency and across the wards and are currently working in many of the hospitals across Australia around 3 days a week; touching the lives of over 100,000 kids per year.
